The Tru-Hop TDC conversion kit works with the stock slider arm so you can adjust your hop level the same way as before. Your VSR-10 will have all the performance benefits of a TDC chamber without the need for an unsightly adjustment wheel sitting atop of your outer barrel, or having to carry a hex key in your pocket.
No drilling, no gluing, no tape, no adjustment wheels, no hex keys – this is the way TDC should have always been!
Installation and Compatibility
This TDC conversion kit was designed to fit specifically the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 and may be compatible with VSR-10 clones such as the JG BAR-10. Additional fitment beyond what is listed below may be required if you are installing a Tru-Hop TDC conversion kit into a VSR-10 clone rifle.
Start off with a preliminary fitment test into your hop-up chamber. The pivot hole and side-wing of the TDC carrier was designed purposely out-of-spec so that final fitment can be tailored to your specific hop-up chamber. This method ensures that your Tru-Hop TDC kit has the perfect (snug) fit in your hop-up chamber. Lightly sand the areas shown below until you have a tight fit between mating parts. Take your time and remove as little material as possible.
Once you are happy with the fit, reassemble your hop-up chamber as normal. We suggest aligning the slider arm to the far right as shown below. Hop-up pressure should be applied in small increments, starting from zero hop, during your testing.
